PRECISION FIT

Built Around Your Tailgate Configuration

Universal tailgate pads often miss the real shape of a Tacoma tailgate. This Michelin protector is mapped to the 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma tailgate using Blue-Laser Scanning for a closer everyday fit.

  • Tailgate-Specific Contours

The scanned shape becomes molded contours around the Tacoma tailgate surface and edges—so coverage follows where loads actually contact the gate.

  • Working Surface Coverage

Vehicle-specific contours help cover the designed Tacoma tailgate working surface, reducing how often cargo scrapes the original finish during everyday loading.

  • Blue-Laser Tailgate Mapping

Blue-Laser Scanning captures the Tacoma tailgate contours so the protector can follow the real working surface on a Tacoma. That supports vehicle-specific molding for everyday loading.

Protection Where Loading Happens

  • ADVANCED DESIGN

    Officially Authorized by Michelin

This TreadAuto tailgate protector is part of the Michelin-authorized lineup, pairing trusted brand standards with vehicle-specific molding.

  • PREMIUM QUALITY

    Textured / Non-Slip Surface

A textured surface helps increase friction between cargo and the mat during short moves. Still secure tall loads the way you normally would.

  • DURABLE BUILD

    Outdoor & Weekend Use

Camping gear, coolers, and sports bags land on a Tacoma tailgate during weekend loading. A fitted protector helps keep those trips from marking the original surface.

  • EVERYDAY READY

    Heavy-Duty TPE

The TPE compound stays flexible for install while handling everyday loading contact on a Tacoma tailgate.
